Rob I think you need some lessons too.
volume part 2 =plan floor area*a/2
volume part 1=plan floor area*C
the "B" values are already accounted for in the floor plan area.

and yes easier to use a zone and trim it to the roof. You can even schedule all the volumes in the buidling.

I echo the use of the Zone Tool. Always use the Software to do that things that it can. Although I have no experience using zone tool for Volume Calcs, only area.

But, I also am a firm believer in the Computer operator also knowing how the Computer performing tasks of this nature.

My method is to multiply the floor area by the Average Height,

Average Height = (A+B)/2 . See Attachment.
