Several Graphic Overrides for one element

Sabrina
Booster

Hi!

Is it possible to have two graphic overrides for one element?

Basically I need to override all the different ceiling colours to show which finish goes where. However some of these ceiling also need to show the various insulations.

I have set the override to show the ceiling finish colour and then created a new GO to show the hatched area of the insulation. My problem is that the background of the hatch is showing as solid white even though its set to transparent. This means that I'm unable to see the green colour below the insulation hatch.

Only one graphic Override can be applied at any one time.

But a Graphic Override can have multiple rules (as you have set up).

But these rules will be applied in the order they are listed in the GO combination list.

If two rules override the same options, only the last one in the list will apply (or is it the first one in the list - I can't remember).

Basically, one rule will apply and override the fill, but then the next rule will also apply and override the fill to something else.

One element can not display two different fills.

Hi Barry!

Thank you for your reply!

Bummer, that its not possible to do what I'm after in one easy go.

I guess the workaround is just to create a new GO for each ceiling colour that has insulation.

I would probably create 2 different plan views.

One to show the finishes using a GO to override that.

And another with a different GO that shows the insulation.

In other words, if it is too much information to show in one plan, create 2.
