I have uninstalled antivirus and am able to run re-installed AC 11 ok.
though when I go to update I get java msg asking if it's ok, I say yes,
then a brief archicad fallingwaters rectangle with a clock circle going for a few seconds, and then nothing.
I've tried running the update exe as administrator, same result.
appreciate any help
dean
Thanks for the support folks,
I uninstalled 3 different versions of Java on my computer and re-installed a Java 6 via a link from Graphisoft, and things are working again.
Now when I restart computer, Java wants to update to the latest Java and delete the Java 6.
I am not allowing this for the time being as I need to get some work done.
What is with this Java thing ?
all the best
and
thanks again
dean
I am pretty sure it is just the installation that requires the correct version of java.
Once you are up and running all should be fine.
Barry.
