Suscription and permanent licences

Hi, is it true that soon (in about 2 years) only licenses via subscription will be available?

I recalled having a conversation about perpetual licenses a while ago (March 2023 as it turns out).

So I did a little digging and found this response from Marton Kiss from Graphisoft HQ.

Nothing set in stone, but as of March 2023, Graphisoft had no plans to abandon perpetual licensing.
