How to disable this type of orbit/pan view while on 3D?

Hello everyone!

I'm having this problem while navigating the 3D, I want to know if there's a way of deactivating this second type of pan/orbit, until now I have no use for that and it's just annoying. In the video attached, first I'm using the orbit/pan in the way I'm used to, and I want how to deactivate the second type shown in the video or at least know what triggers it.

Thanks for helping!

Focus orbit. What you are encountering is when the program thinks you are focusing on an object far away or off to the side. When it happens, just release the orbit and go again. Also try not to start your orbit with your cursor in empty space. Selecting an object should also set the orbit point.

I think that is also only a problem in 3D perspective view.

I personally like to use just the Axonometric 3D view as there is no distortion.

I think perspective is fine as a presentation view, but not so good when working on the model.

But each to there own!

Some prefer perspective.
