Which version of rhino is most compatible with archicad?

REVIT is pushing GD (generative design) a lot.
It seems to be advertised as being able to do apartment layout with this.
And it is said that optimal arrangement is also possible.

If so, how should I access it in archicad?
Are you trying to do it through Rhino?
So, what is the optimal Rhino version?

Hi there,

Grasshopper-Archicad 25 Live Connection, Supports Rhino 5.

Grasshopper-Archicad 26 Live Connection, Supports Rhino 6 and Rhino 7.

which one are you using?

Actually, that is not what the official Graphisoft download page says:

https://graphisoft.com/us/downloads/addons/interoperability/rhino

It says that for both Ac24 and Ac25, there is a version of the Add-On that support Rhino 5 and 6, and another that supports Rhino 6 and 7.

However, for Ac26, there is only one version and it supports Rhino 5 and 6.

So, it seems that Ac26 does not yet have a connection that supports Rhino 7.

I use Rhino 7 with Archicad 26, but i’m gonna change to Maya.

Do you use Rhino for renders / 3D modeling?

I'm thinking of doing modeling.
Rendering is thinking of twinmotion or lumion.
I am a beginner.
I want to know your opinion.

What version of archicad do you use?

Hi Lee,

For renders, Lumion but D5 Render, seems also to be very good.

For modeling, you can try Blender. It's a very good and complete 3D app, with many options, and it's Open Source Software. (absolutely free)
