Surface Painter for All Elements

The surface painter is useful for complex objects, so that we can change all counter surfaces in the cabinet object for example.

But we are missing a key ability to edit surfaces of: Railings, Stairs, Curtain Walls. The three elements that take the most time to dig through the complex lists of settings to edit. Surface painter for slabs is almost pointless, and the feature doesn't work with the tools that need it the most.
