Spontaneous corner windows

Without my assistance, all my windows (AC 11) have become corner windows. Anybody seen this? Solution?

Not I. Strange and troubling...
Solution?
Restore the exterior walls from a backup file?

There's no way I know that a user can change an element to another type.
