model disappear in generic perspective view

Hello, i am new to all this so please excuse any mistakes

I work with AC10 (under vista) and i have a problem and i do not know whether it is related to the software or hardware

When i switch to generic perspective
the model disappear, it reappears when I zoom in or out, or orbit around it, but as soon as I stop moving, it disappears again.

As advised in other posts, I checked the "view" - "3d view" dialog box but that did not change anything.

Thank you for your ideas

Hey!
Did you try to place a camera object and then select it to see perspective view? Sometimes it helps.
It could be hardware, but your parallel view is ok?

Back in 10/beginning11? I had that happen once in a while.
I now think it was my video card or "minimal video card" at that time, when it got hot.
Others may know more.

It may be video card related - I have v.11 running on a vista laptop. When I try to display the 3d model, it is visible when panning, zooming, etc. but goes blank when i stop moving it. In my case the screen goes black, not white. if I press the ESC button, the model re-appears.

I haven't found anyway around this so far.

First, condolences for working on Vista.

10 is not fully supported on Vista, and neither is OpenGL. So your problem may be there.

I would suggest you to upgrade the software or the OS to XP 😉
