getting wall opening to match non rectangular window gsms

When I make a custom window with a non-rectangular form (say an arched top) and use it in a wall, the opening that ArchiCAD makes does not match the outline of the window. Is there a setting that controls this?

Do a Search for Wallhole.

Ha! Works perfect.

Make a slab that defines the rough opening of the window object and change its ID to 'Wallhole,' then save it with the rest of the window object.

Does the depth of the slab matter for 'Wallholes'?

There are some niche objects among your windows in the default library. Check them out (open and check scripts) to see how depth is defined.
