We made fills in V10 or it might have been one from the box called empty fill that we used in a lot of our objects we've made and used in V10. We are now making a template from scratch in V12 and thought we'd not use any fills or linetypes that we made in V10 or earlier thinking that this would make the file cleaner and better. Is this thinking correct? I have lots of objects that I used an empty fill in and it would be much easier to just use the fills, composites, linetypes, etc... from V10.
Does everyone start from scratch for every new version? Are there any benefits? Are we wasting our time? We still are going to make our template from scratch but do we need to remake everything or find equivalent linetypes, fills in V12 or can we just bring v10 ones over using attribute manager?
