Roofs with different angles

Hi all,
please help me to fix this: when connecting two roofs ( 12 in 12 and 8 in 12) with the same thickness of structure they receive different fascias.
How to get fascias of equal height on roofs with diff. slope?
Thanks in advance!

specify the vertical dimension of the roof instead of its thickness.\\

OR

add a fascia board

Hi skardes,

The only way to fix this is to have different overhangs at the eaves. A 12 pitch will not have the same facia or overhang as an 8 pitch in a right angle as you've shown. In plan, split the difference between the two and use that as the edge of the roofs. Not sure if there is a way to clean up the result but hopefully someone will chime in.

You could trim the bottom of the steeper roof with an SEO......

In the real world you'd have to do it with a saw anyways!!

or turn the laser level to full power.

Thanks for your prompt replies!
I've decided to run around the perimeter of the roof with soffit section complex profile wall. It should hide everything. BTW, sometimes complex profile walls as moldings don't properly join at corners when they itersect/touch ref. line of the actual wall they applied to. What's the reason?
Wall priority doesn't help...
