Stairmaster

I am having trouble with stairs. I get most of the procedure, but there are spots I don't get;
1.) On a set of stairs that are already drawn, how can I raise or drop them a story and have the visible area show as visible on the appropriate story? I drop the stair set in section rather than figuring out all of the parameters again.
2.) How do I select which part of the stair set is top or bottom and have it show accordingly? I get in the section view, find out they are backward, go to a plan view and rotate the stair set and check it again in section. In Revit you can push a button and reverse the direction of the stair set. How do you do it here?
Thanks!
