Inserting a Window above a door

I'd like to insert an arched window above a door. My wall already has a door in it and it does not want to let me put in a window. Is there some other way to do this?

Try inserting the window somewhere else in the wall then
drag it into position over the door.

Thank you. That did let me insert it, but when I tried to elevate it above the door, it disappeared in the 3D view. It showed up when it was lower than the door, but as soon as you put it above the door, it is gone.

I have never seen such behavior in AC. Are you sure that the
window is disappearing in 3D not 2D ? I elevated a window
above the wall it was inserted in and it remained visible in 3D.
Also, to borrow from another forum member:

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

check your floor cutting plane and the window's showing settings on floor plan (symbolic. projected?)
