Hi all I just got me a iMac the big one and it rocks but I want to open multiple copies of archicad 10 like I use to on my PC but it won't let me. I know its just going to be some dumb thing that as a PC user I don't know about could anyone point me in the right direction.

After you open your first file...

1. Choose OPEN from the File Menu
2. Click the little checkbox that says "Launch new instance of ArchiCAD"
3. Choose your 2nd file to open..

If you are already in Archicad and want to open another instance, go to File> Open and check the "Launch a new instance of Archicad" box in the bottom left corner of the dialogue

It would be great to have this option when opening a file from the recent list too, but no such luck.

Edit: and I get the Silver medal.

I have often wished this too! Why don't you make it a real wish?
