help with layout

Hi,

I'm fairly new to ArchiCAD and the publisher set menu. If you see the attached screenshot you will see that my section drawing ( made simply with the line tool ) is small on the sheet it will be printed on... How do I make it zoom in further but still keep the elevation names or is this not possible because this is how it's been drawn...

Thank You

If I understand what you are trying to accomplish: you can place a view multiple times on a layout, and use the edit edge option on the pet palette of a selected drawing to move the boundary of the drawing. Also, you can change the scale of a selected drawing. So you could place the view once, select it, change the scale (so the section is larger), and edit the boundaries to show just the section (it is generally better to work on the drawing at the scale it will be printed due to WYSIWYG). The view can then be placed a second time for the elevation names. If this does not help, you should post more information about the issue.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
