GDL Object Adapter problem

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello,

I have installed GDL Object Adapter 12, but I can't add any GDL object into Autocad... I think it's correctly installed, here are infos:

- I have Archicad 10 and Autocad 2008 already installed

- So I have downloaded GDL Object Adapter 12 from Graphisoft website

- I install it, and it create one folder on Graphisoft program file (it doesn't put any icon on desktop, but maybe it's normal)

- I launch Autocad 2008 and I can see on the left GDL Object Adapter toolbars. So this far it seems all OK

- The problem is that I can't drag any GDL object into these toolbars, or when I open "Library Manager" I can't add any folder, so no GDL object is loaded... the >>Add>> button stays in grey color

It's like a file when it's locked and under "read only"
Does anyone have any idea what can be the problem?

I attached one screenshot on this message

Thank you in advance for any help,
Boris

This is just a guess but maybe you will have to select a folder which actually has at least one GDL object in it for the Add button to become enabled.

Thanks for the hint, I have tried with one folder containing GDL:

C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 10\Bibliothèque ArchiCAD 10\Macros Objets Personnalisés 10\Modèles Types 10

But it remains the same

Sorry, I cannot help more, I do not have this installed on my system as I do not have AutoCAD.
Then you should contact your local ArchiCAD reseller with the problem if no one from here can offer a solution.
