Noob Question. importing an object, cant find it in 3D view

Hi, i have imported a DWG 3d file.

it shows the file in the stories view when its first opened, but when i switch to a 3d view, it doesn't seem to show up. and i cant find it at all. i wanted to check to see if the textures had imported.

is there an outliner, or some window that lists all the objects in the scene, and is it possible to select that object and zoom into it?

or do you have to apply the object to the 3d scene area?

is the object much too small do you think?

im very new to this, about 1 hour in

i just want to get a simple object visible in the scene with textures on.

please help me 😉

thanks in advance for all the information and instructions you are about to give me 😉

Have you imported the DWG as an object or as a drawing? Select it and "Show selection / marquee in 3D" if it is an object it will show up. If you need instructions on opening dwg's as objects see this thread
