I have the following wall that i created using a subtracted roof element to create the slope.
when i go to schedules and lists and run an element report it gives me a square footage of the wall without the slope.
how do i get this to calculate correctly and am i using the correct method of slope creation to do this.

using version 11 also.
the report only gives me the square foot of the whole rectangular shape, it is like it does not recognize their is a subtracted area there also.
