Exporting custom image to ifc

Jakob_Floyd
Booster

Hello,

I have added a painting to my model and added a custom image to it following this guide https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Libraries-objects/Customizing-the-Image-on-the-Picture-TV-Screen...

However, when I export file as ifc, the image is not displayed. Is there a way to "merge" the custom image so that it would show in ifc too?

Operating system used: Windows 11

I believe Archicad does not include Surface Textures (images applied to surfaces) when exporting IFC files. Probably this is why the image is not exported either.

AFAIK, none of the major BIM software export textures in IFC.
