unknown menu column

I have seen unknown menu columns shown in the maxonform demo movie (can be found here: http://www.graphisoft.com/ftp/marketing/MaxonForm/ ).

what are they good for? how can I activate them?

They aren't things that can be activated. They are add-ons that can be purchased separately.

LHS is the Log Home Solution. Option Manager is an add on from Graphisoft. Ask your dealer.
