Window Markers in Elevation

KOAN

Hi All,

I have a quick question... I'm trying to get my window markers in elevation to show as the marker that I've set for the window (W Marker USA 27).  I select all the windows in the elevation that I'm working on, go to Document > Label Selected Elements, but it doesn't place the marker associated with the window, just whatever the Label tool was last set to.

W Marker USA 27 doesn't appear to be an available marker to use with the Label tool so I can't set it manually... I feel like I've done this before without any issue so I'm not sure what I've messed up here...

Thanks for any advice!  I feel like I'm just missing something that should be obvious.

The Windows Marker and a Label use different Library Parts and they are not interchangeable.

You will have to use a Label to label the Windows in an Elevation.

You can draw your Window Marker geometry using Lines and Autotext Text Block, and save them as a Label. Then you can use that to label the Windows in an Elevation.
