Zone and zone stamp display order AC26

Yvonne
Advocate

Is there a reason why the zone stamp of a zone does not follow the display order of the zone? e.g. I put a fill over the zone (which has a zone stamp) and the fill ends up being in between the zone and zone stamp. It also appears the zone stamp ends up being at the top of the order.  I have attached some images of moving the fill over the zone stamp.

That is just the default display order being used.

Don't quote me on the exact order (I'd have to look it up - should be in the reference manual).

Zone stamps are objects.

Fills will go behind objects, walls, text and a few other elements.

Seems a zone fill is classified at a lower display order than a fill so will by default show behind the fill.

Display order will allow you to adjust them.

I'm not able to adjust the zone stamp display. The display order of the zone stamp seems to be not associated with the zone. I'm not using a separate label.

You can't select the zone stamp without selecting the zone.

But the stamp and the zone do appear to be in different display levels.

Even sending the zone and stamp back to display level 1 will not hide the stamp.

The zone and the fill are by default in display level 6.

Only bringing the zone display forward will help.

Seems you have to bring the fill up to level 11.

Thing is that will now hide other elements like walls and text, so you then have to bring those forward.

This may be another reason to start using the zone label rather than the stamp.

Much easier to control and you can have different label content in different positions in different views of the same plan.

And they can also be used in sections.
