FILE IS ALMOST 300 MB

Am starting As-Built drawings for a project. Have scans from Microfiche that are blown up to 200% (building drawn by hand in 1923). Brought in the scans on worksheets and set up basement, foundation, floor framing, first floor, second floor framing, roof framing, roof plan, and elevations. The pdf on the worksheets are each over 30Mb.

Question: after modeling the building, can the worksheets be tossed and will the file then get to a manageable size?

Yes. I do this all the time since those scans really bulk up the file size. Of course you will still want to keep those scans somewhere for future reference should you need them again.

Just archive the set with the scans as a record set.
