Losing favorites

I am a former ArchiCAD 10 user and I have been setting up ArchiCAD12. I updated all of my window and door favorites and a bunch of other things. I opened and closed the template several times and everything I have done worked just fine. All of the sudden I open the template this morning and all of my window and door Favorites are grayed out. Why did this happen? The only thing I did this morning was I had to open the Object Library 12.lcf add a file and recreate the container file. Before that I had lost half of my door favorites and that was it. Now I lost all of them so I know I am doing something wrong.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you now using a different library then when you created the Favorites?
Library Parts are identified by a Global Unique Identifier (GUID) not by name since AC12.
When a Favorite is grayed out in the Favorites Palette it means that ArchiCAD does not find the library part the Favorite refers to.

If the above is the case then what you should do is first load the Library you want to work with and then modify/recreate the Favorites.
