Vectorial Hatch lines disappear

Eduardo Rolon

I am having a strange issue with parts of a vectorial hatch disappearing if there is a wall in front of the one with the hatch that aligns with it.

Ideas?

How far away is the wall in front from the wall with the hatch? Can you post a 3d view of it maybe using the internal engine with vectorial hatches turned on?

Distance is about 7'-0".

In 3D with internal it is shown but in Layout is not.

That's weird! I'd forward that part of the model to your reseller/GS and see what they say.

I guess pulling the low wall away from the main wall by a millimetre might 'fix' it, but I don't really know why the problem is occurring.

Even if you delete the perpendicular wall the line will not be shown. It reappears only if you stretch the one that runs parallel to the left of were the line is missing. If you move it to the right it will not display even with a rebuild.

That's about a 6 on the ArchiCAD weird-o-meter.

Does it improve if you change the direction of the lower wall?

Cheers,

Nope, though I think it has to do with the base level of the wall which has the vectorial fill not aligning with either the top or the bottom of the front wall.

BTW it also does it with slabs or windows but in that case it the line removed is horizontal.
