Ability to hide dimensions with their associated elements

It would be nice to have the option to hide dimensions, or parts of dimensions when their associated elements are hidden. We currently have this option for labels.

For example, the walls are dimensioned like this:

 

If we turn of the layer of the interior wall, the dimension associated with it would be hidden:

 

And obviously hiding all of the associated elements would hide the dimension as well.

I know we can currently display different sets of dimensions with the partial structure display but with this option it would add more flexibilty.

OK, so the wish is not to hide the whole Dimension Chain, but only hide those Dimension Points of a Dimension Chain the Reference Points of which are on hidden elements. That is an interesting wish.

That's correct, but if all of the associated elements are hidden then the whole dimension chain would also be hidden.
