updating in layouts

Anonymous
Not applicable
hi, i am using archicad 12 edu version.
lately, whenever i try to update the drgs in layout from sourceviews, these go blank, all i see is blank demarcated areas having title bars.
is there some sort of setting or something else.

Have you moved, rotated or mirrored your model by any chance?
Or moved your section elevation lines?

The drawings you placed have an option to use the drawings origin for placement.
If you move anything after the drawing is placed the frame will stay locked in it's position and the drawing inside will appear to move (if you have the frames set to "manually resized frame".

The easy way to fix this is to change the drawing frame to "Fit frame to drawing" and the frame will move to fit the drawing.
You may need to view extents because it can sometimes move way off the layout.
Then move the drawing & frame back into position.

Barry.
