Solid elements operations

I use this tool quite often, especially when I need to extrude complicated volumes. The only problem I've got is that target elements remain extruded only as long as the operator stays in his place. After I move it or delete it, the target element changes to the initial volume, before the extrusion.

Do you have any idea how could I keep the target element extruded, and also delete the operator? Or move it to some other position? (in my last project, the solids I'm using are Mesh elements)

You must save the trimmed element as an object.

The new object is independent of the operator but cannot be edited further.

Create a special layer pair to keep the SEO elements made this way to simplify future editing.
