Calculation Training

I am trying to learn how to use calculation database to create cost estimates or takeoffs for an entire model. Are there any good Archicad 11 training guides besides what is in the manual provided by graphisoft? i have found a few sources on the web, but for the most part are for older versions of archicad. there is a book i heard about called "archicad: From the Cad to quantity survey". i am not sure if it would be what i am looking for or not. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This might help. The new book is most likely the way to go if you really want to learn it.

Definitely get the book. It is the only detailed resource out there, short of hiring somebody for training - which would cost a fortune in comparison. Duane's PDF that Rick links to is a great place to start before jumping into the book. There is even a user forum for owners of the book where you can ask questions.
