Peter,
Great catch!
I also just had a sleepless night thinking I had a corrupted file!
Thank god for Architalk search and Peter.
Now to reconfigure keystrokes. that 'S' is too easy to hit accidently. Who uses grid snap anyhow?
Cheers

All the time when dimensioning.
And set my keystroke for grid snap to "~"

Hey Rod
How does grid-snap work for dimensioning?
Do you have a lot of even numbers in your projects?
I do exclusively remodels and seems like there's
not an even number anywhere.
So kinda curious.
Maybe I'm missing the obvious?

So do I both single and multi storey, though not exclusively.

Simple, place origin at project origin.
I set my grids to 1 metre primary and half metre secondary.
When placing dimension chain activate snap grid to half metre and place.

All dim chains then space neatly about project area.
If you move a chain again use snap grid to place, quite easy
The keystroke acts as a toggle on/off.

Thanks for the tip.
I'll have to play around with that
at some point here.
