I need to create a roof that is curved, arched, however you want to put it. Anyone know how?

Guess I should have been a little more specific. Today was my first time using Archicad ever!

So, be more specific.

Is this a technical or conceptual roof?

How editable does it need to be?

Exactly how curvy/arched will it be?

I am trying to create a roof that is curved, starting at about 10' high at low end and arching to about 20' high at the high end. One continuous arc, that is a roof.

Sorry, can't edit my last post. It is a set of drawings done in autocad. I am training right now. One hurdle is to create a roof that is an arc. In autocad, 2d, just draw an arc on the elevation to represent the arc roof. I want to use Archicad to create a roof that is an arc.

Yup. Complex profile - EJ is right.

You'll draw the curved roof section as the complex profile.
Then us it as a wall.

Use the Vaulted roof tool as explained here:

http://www.graphisoft.com/archiguide_archive/ArchiGuide_Online_6o/issue15/roofs.html

If the smoothness of the arc is necessary, create the Custom Profile of the roof (the said arc plus thickness) and create the "roof" with the wall tool.
