My drawing was put outside the layout area

I have put several drawings into layouts. Now I use the same layout,
but my drawing is put outside the layout-area and the sheet of paper.
I can't even select it and drag it to the right place. I suppose this also has a simple solution.

Check the Frame settings under your drawing options (command+T) and select the "fit"option. Also verify your anchor point, the graphic with the 9 dots, to see which point is the base point for the changes.

Those things were OK. But, now I suddenly realized what was wrong. THe marquee-area around the drawing had become so huge. I had to reduce its size ti fit the drawing and choose move-it from the popup-menu.
Typical beginner mistake.

It is not a Marquee it is the Frame, make it so that it fits to the drawing.
