Just like brick walls have cavities, so to do brick columns - columns generally are likely to built up with more than two layers.
The column veneer option should thus offer composite veneers - which should clean up with wall composites
The current workaround is to place a central element as a column, and place independand walls around this - which is an inconsistant way to work when everything else is modelled with composites, and should not be necessary.
