mirrored complex profile not displaying

i have modeled a complex profile, hotlinked it into the project and cut a section. one side displays the section (wall) correctly while the exact same wall profile (mirrored) does not display correctly (profile line is missing) - tried injecting with the good display side - nothing. can anyone explain what is happening?

UPdate:

i checked on the module i am hotlinking and when i cut a setion one direction the wall profiles show up and when i cut a section the other direction, they disappear????

anyone have a thought?

I've had the same issues with complex profiles and have never found a fix unfortunately. I ended up just drawing 2d lines over top.

there was a mention of over-lapping walls, but no mention of layers.

check & see if there are walls of different layers but in the same location.

this is simply fixed by changing the intersection properties in the layer settings...
