Strictly speaking it is a converter rather than an importer. It creates ArchiCAD library parts from the 3DS. These must then be added to the project. The last one created will become the default for the object (chair) tool.

Hi there - Thanks for the head's up - I had minor panic that the two could never work together.

please though point me in the direction of this add-on download?!

Looking on the graphisoft support page, not winning though!

We are running Archicad 13 and MAX 2009 btw.
