Detail your design to allow a notch for light:

In Artlantis, make an inner face of the notch from the neon material.

In Archicad LightWorks, place general lights in the notch.

These techniques are derived from the material in my books:

"LightWorks in Archicad" and "The Artlantis Attitude."

Mr dwight, I don't understand the notch , does we have to make it from artlantis, and if i make a general light, the light will be so strong that it doesn't similar to the real hidden lamp. Can you explain more detail about the way to make hidden lamp ?

Thank you so much

The notch is the space where the light hides— just like a notch or recess for a real light. This is made in the model.

In Artlantis, you merely assign the neon material to an inner face of this notch and it will glow like in my illustration.

In Archicad, you must put lights in the recess. If you feel the lights are too strong, constrict the recess until it is just a slit to contain the energy.
