Can IFC files contain schedule information?

We are exporting an IFC file from Archicad and importing it into Revit. All of the model information translates but we can not get the Archicad schedules to import into Revit. Is this possible, or do we have to create a new schedule once imported into Revit?

I think you will have to recreate the Schedule in Revit.
If I understand you correctly, what you are basically asking is that ArchiCAD be able to export in IFC the Schedule so that when Revit imports it it will automatically convert into a Revit Schedule. I mean: not the schedule, the result, but into the Scheme Settings and everything.
We're not that advanced yet.

I don't know if Revit can import excel. If it can, you could save out the schedules to excel to get the format.
