GDL publisher & web control

Hi all.
We want to use the GDL publisher to publish some object for the web (that's it's job )
However they are for a store & we don't want people to be able to save them from the viewer.
We have tried using the "encrypt" option, but this doesn't seem to do anything?

Does anyone know how to lock them?

I'm sure someone would have done this before.

Hello,

Just include the parameter DisableMenus and give it value #06 in
the parameter and embed sections of the page -> this blocks the
Save Object... menu item.

...
<param NAME="DisableMenus" VALUE="#06">
...
<embed ..... DisableMenus="#06" ......></embed>
...

Hope this helps.

So we add that to our template file for the GDL publisher?

Yes sadly, but it is pretty out of date now anyway...

I have been asked by a client to build them an online, interactive furniture catalogue. In the catalogue I was hoping to build objects for instance tables - which could then have inter-changable bases, tops and finishes based on the clients wishes.

I have been trying to find some sort of GDL viewing platform which no archicad uses could download and play in - or better yet, something i could imbed into a web site.

Are you aware if anything like this exists?

I am open to any suggestions.
