Round staircase to end in different heights

Anonymous

I’m new to Archicad and that forum and have to find my way yet. I want to create a staircase that Is round (for a spiral stair) but I want it to end under an angle und make a glass roof in the shape of an ellipse. So I thought I would just make the wall as a round wall and then cut in the section plane. But I can’t get the axe work in the section view. Anybody any ideas?

It is a bit hard to follow what you are trying to accomplish, you will probably get more and better advice if you post some images of your design.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

If I understand you correctly, trim the in plan circular walls with a roof set at the desired angle to create an ellipse.
