Vertical Fill problems??

Its probably a quick fix but I'm having trouble with 2d fills.

I'm trying to rotate the plank floor fill from horizontal lines to vertical lines. I have duplicated the fill, rotated the lines in the settings. ... but when i go to use it, its still horizontal???

Is there anything I'm missing?

Any help would be great!

Could be you have vectorial hatching turned off under On screen view options, and you are seeing the bitmap version?
If that's it, and you want to bother with it, you can save your new "fill material" with a new name and change the tiny bit map representation in the tiny box upper right.

jny:

You do not need to duplicate the fill type. Select the fill, open its Object Settings, then select the "Link to Fill Origin" option. This will add a handle to the fill for freely rotating the angle of the fill within the fill's perimeter.
