Auto Text in Archicad

If I remember correctly in version 8.0, you use to be able to put an auto text such as <PmAShNo>in Archicad and when imported into Plotmaker would insert the sheet number. Is that still possible in version 9.0?

of course! <PmAShNo> is written into a couple of the section/elevation/detail markers as a part of the GDL object. you don't place it as text on the floor plan and hope that plotmaker knows what you're on about . . .

take a look at the various parameter options in sect/elev/detail marker objects. as far as scripting your own marker objects to take advantage of this, i can't help: i'm GDL hopeless . . .

That's not entirely true. "PMAshNo" is simply filler text that the markers put in to tell you that Plotmaker is going to fill them in automatically. The text could say anything. For example, our custom markers say <Drawing> and <Sheet>.

The marker object does all the work internally.
