Enjoy discussing Feng Shui in the Russian forum, the users switched to the jokes. Also, the architects decided to ask colleagues in other parts of the world: "How do you feel about Feng Shui?"

I love the Cigraph-like icon

I actually think that feng shui has useful design ideas. Not the zodiak-style feng shui which feels like nonsense to me, but many of the design concepts. Feng shui gives these concepts 'interesting' stories about chi/qi, wealth, and whatnot ... but to me, many of them are simply patterns that make one feel more safe and comfortable in a home or other building.

But, then I am also a big fan of 'Pattern Language' by Alexander et al ... which is also derided by 'real' architects/designers.

Cheers,
Karl

I have done some Feng-Shui design. I even created a "Ba-gua diagram" overlay GDL object to help with laying out building/room/space functionality and relationships.

I must say that I was a sceptic until I got formally trained. Feng-Shui incorporates (directly and indirectly) good design principles. Many great designers design with Feng-Shui concepts without even knowing about Feng-Shui.

... That is pretty funny though.
