Are you trying to create a library object?
Or is this just Archicad throwing up this message - maybe because of an add-on?

I don't know if this is the soultion to your problem but version 12 was not designed for Windows 7.

Find the program file (Archicad.exe) And right click on it and choose "Properties".
Set the compatibility to "Windows XP".
Try running Archciad again after this.

This has solved a problem I have with a GDL object writing to a text file that won't work in 12 on Vista or Windows 7.

Barry.

This is just a totally random error message that AC throws up from time to time, happens with all objects. happening in AC 12 & 13.

i have to save to a different location but even then the error happens.

very annoying

This typically happens when the file or path name changes while the library part (or any other file) is open. It could also be caused by permissions errors. I haven't used Win7 enough to know if that has anything to do with it.
