Bathroom fixtures missing in AC 12 US library?

AC 12 2420 Mactel, and library up to date. I only get the wc basin etc. 2D symbols, and don't have the models.

Maybe with the CSI sections reshuffling the bathroom fixtures models just got lost somewhere? Or am I missing something big?

If you are using ArchiCAD MEP, have a look for them in the MEP Library. The installer sucks them out of the regular library and puts them in the MEP Library.

Do you have MEP, Ignacio? (Don't see it in your signature.)

If so, see:

Actually, it's not really that, Aaron, although it may look like that. No parts are moved anyway. But, see:

when MEP is loaded, various parts are filtered into different tools. The behavior is very confusing to users indeed.

Hey Karl,

I hadn't gone looking myself. one of my clients announced to me that his 'bog' had been moved. Thanks for the clarification.

That was it. Thanks very much. [As you put it in that thread: 'disconcerting'.]

Then, if you have to use a non-MEP enabled dongle, you can't see them or use them at all.

Not good.

what if you relocate the mep addon out of the addon folder before starting ac ??... a pain indeed

That's what I've done when I needed to replicate a client environment.

I always have a folder called "Add-ons Disabled" in my application folder to drag these things into, so they are easily found to drag back. The most frequent reason that I'll drag add-ons there is that many will otherwise create data in the project file resulting in prompting someone without the add-ons, upon opening the file, with the dialog with checkboxes asking if the data associated with the add-on should be saved. When creating templates for others, this is a particular hassle and easily forgotten with all of the other nitty gritty details of template creation.

Cheers,
Karl
