You need to give the slab that defines the hole an ID of wallhole and save it as a window again.

Cheers,

No. Just make a slab that defines the hole you want. Make its ID "WALLHOLE" (without the quotes - caps optional) and include it when you save the library part.

Matthew,

Correct me If I am wrong as per the image what I feel is even after renaming the slab Id. You need to edit the script, see below link.

and a simple tip too.

Of course you can edit the script for more functions, but it is not necessary. Any slab with the ID "WALLHOLE" will be included in the saved script as such. Tom Waltz once posted a clever example of how to make a hole shaped like a cartoon character
here.

Just draw the shape you want the hole and include it in the part. No need for scripting.

Could you do the same thing for an arch door that has an opening of 6' by 15' and has a 4" by 8" band that goes around the arch?
