the Pet Palette doesn't show me 'insert new node' menu

I don't know what's wrong with that. I can't add new node or any kind of menu for node. I can only see in my pet palette- move, mirror, etc.
How can I change that?

What version of Archicad are you using? (please add a signature to your profile so it appears in every post you make).

What are you trying to add the node to? (wall, slab, fill, etc.).

You need to click on the edge of you element for the add node option to appear.
Clicking on a corner node will give a different palette.

If you are trying to insert a node on a mesh, make sure the mesh tool is active before you click in the mesh. This will change the pet pallette options.

Is the item you're trying to edit grouped?
Have you suspended groups?

it was simple drawing-I'm just started.

I drew a triangle and tried to insert new node on the pline,
After I chose some option for pet palette- like moving, multiple copy, etc.
suddenly, the pet palette didn't show the menu for node anymore.

It showed me only 4 menu, when I clicked on the node or the edge
- move, copy, mirror, rotate- only the below line of normal pet palette.
Can it be changed the menu of pet palette?

I don't know any way of altering how the pet palette appears.
As far as I know it always has the edit options on the top row and the move options on the bottom.
But apparently not in your case.

Does the same happen if you draw a new polyline?
Have you tried with a fill or a slab?
Do you have the latest hotfix 2675?

Otherwise can you post a screen shot just to make sure we are all talking about the same thing?

I was a little economical before, what I wanted to say was:
1. you can't edit elements that are grouped.
2. You may have autogroup turned on, look in the "Edit" menu under "Grouping"
3. If your elements are grouped you will need to ungroup them or suspend grouping before you can edit them. Otherwise the pet palette will look exactly as you described.

That will be your problem.
I bet you drew the triangle with the continuous line tool and not a polyline (there is a slight difference).
Your autogrouping is on (which is a good thing) and your grouping is enabled causing your problem.
Suspend the groups and all will be well.

I was testing with a polyline which is a single entity and not a group of individual lines as created with the continuous line tool.
That's why I couldn't duplicate your problem.
Good pick up Andrew.

Thanks, bro for all of your reply!

Problem solved- it was drawn by connected line. That's why when I clicked the triangle, was selected all of line of it.

I drew with single lines and they were not selected wholly. I could find the menus for nodes.

You could still draw the triangle by using the connected (continous) lines.
You just need to press the "Suspend" groups button before you try to edit them.
Then they will appear as separate lines until the next time that you "Enable" the groups.
