Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and Archicad?

Can anyone from G_soft say anything assuring about AC11 working under the about-to-be-released Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard?

I've tried "Import-Export" ( where it should be). File is still named "Archicad.bundle", but the icon has changed. "Kind" also still says "bundle). I may just have to go back to a non-Leopard machine....

I don't have an add-on by that name - what does it do? I can take a look at it if you send it to me.

Ralph,

It's supposed to be "C4DExporter" from Maxon like Owen mentioned in his post. you can down load it directly from here:

This one specifically:

ArchiCAD
Update ArchiCAD 10 Exchange Plugin for CINEMA 4D R10
For Mac OS X and Windows 2000/XP (ZIP - approx. 1.3 M)

You end up with a ArchiCAD 10 folder and inside 3 folders (PPC,MacIntel, & PC). The Macintel is the one ending up as a .bundle and unrecognized by ArhciCAD when exporting...

Attached are the hacked (but working!) Cinema4D Export add-ons (ArchiCAD.bundle) for both AC10 and AC11.

These live in the ../Add-Ons/Import-Export folder

Don't know if it would make any difference but the PkInfo resource i copied for each was from the respective version of the 3DStudio Out add-on.

hope this works for you - i haven't had any issues yet (fingers crossed)

No thank Ralph .. i had absolutely no clue why i was doing this!

I did a little research on just what a PkgInfo file is and it doesn't seem like much (take a look at whats inside with TextEdit..) other than it is one of two files all application packages should contain in OS X (other being the Info.plist file). Without these OS X may not recognise them as apps - I guess Leopard is a little more strict on this requirement hence why it didn't work but did in 10.4. I love that you can just copy any old PkgInfo file in and have it work. Anyway

Hi,

For me Archicad 11(1086 & 975) is not compatible with Leopard.
I have tried both versions on a G4 PPC 1,42 Ghz mac Mini 1 Go.

Impossible to launch the program with plugins DWG. See error report here after

I hope a quick fix ... Leopard is so cool ... this is the first problem I met with !
