shift - ortho stopped working

When I hit the shift key to force the ortho it no longer works. Any thoughts?

You don't say what version of Archicad you are using - please add a signature to your profile and the info will always be there.

Assuming it is one of the later versions the first place I would check is the setting in the Work Environment for "Mouse Constraints and Methods".

were you editing a curtain wall before this happened?
when i've accidentally used shift constraint when editing a cw, the shift and alt to create a copy when dragging something on plan stop working. restart archicad and don't use shift in editing a cw.

Have you turned on grid snap perhaps? The shortcut is 'S' and is easily activated by accident.
