How curved? Arch? sweep? What?

You have two tools: the arched roof segment tool and the complex profile extrusion.
See:

http://www.archicadwiki.com/Creative%20Uses%20of%20Complex%20Profiles?highlight=%28complex%29%7C%28p...

And:

Search the Reference Manual for Barrel-Vault Roof.

This form is easy - one shape, two profiles.

To draw the sinuous section, make a spline in the floor plan and magic wand a thin wall with a fill over it. Explode the wall and copy the fill into the Complex Profile window. This becomes the glass and rib profile.

Using the profile as a template, you trace the horizontal bands over it.

Assembling the building around a spline form, you magic wand the glass, you magic wand a slab roof - solid white, and you make ribs from the glass form and place them as mullions.
